Looks like a nice build to me.
But I only have Factions so how can I use this build? Can some1 make me a working varriant with only core and Factions skills?

You will need Prophecies for Essence Bond and Balthazar's Spirit. It is the only way to keep your energy up. Some other person just asked the same thing, but there is nothing that can replace those two skills.

Naphui Quarter (Farming Tip): I did some Nahpui Quarter mission farming today, and I finally managed to get acouple skills working to kill Star Lights... You can't kill all of them, but mainly the ones that are alone or doubled up. There are some that you can still avoid and shake off if needed, especially if there is 2-4 following you.
I used Pain Inverter and Scourge Healing instead of Vengeful Weapon and RoD. They both make it possible to take out some of those annoying Star Lights. Just cast Scourge Healing on the Star Light (keep them hexed with it until they are dead),then cast Pain Inverter on the as often as possible. You can also cast Scourge Healing on other Enemies to help do more damage to the Lights... the more enemies you have hexed with it, the more damage they will take. I managed to take out 2 of them in a group a few times, it wasn't easy, but does take some timing and strategy to take them out. They are alot easier to kill when there is only 1 in a group. If it is taking too long to kill them, or running low on energy, just run on and shake them off... or if you need energy, pull the Star Lights to another group of enemies, then start working on killing them again.

It can farm most of them, but not all. And it is definately slower, and need extra skills for degen areas. And a bit lower energy gain if you use Shielding Hands...

Man, those Starlights in Naphui are HARD!
I've managed to kill like 1 or 2 in the beginning but then I end up dragging em all along
making it impossible to kill anything.

If there is 2 or more, it can be hard to kill. I do manage to kill 2 in a group, but only 1 at a time. They are alot easier to kill if there is only one in a group... sometimes you have to pull that light to some other enemies so you can get enough energy to keep the pressure on the Star Light. If all else fails, just ignore them and keep running... eventually they will turn around.

I read through all 30 pages here and found some really great tips, and thought I'd add an observation of my own.
I tracked down an Oola's Wand and Oola's Focus for this build. Both give a 20%HSR on resto, and enough extra energy to work efficiently with only a few runes of attunement. The +30hp from the focus hasn't bothered me in the slightest, and the two green items can be picked up pretty cheaply if you don't feel like spamming for staff mods or completing Oola's Lab over and over.
bought Oola's [email protected] and Oola's [email protected] in about 20 mins.
The HSR on VwK is fantastic, and makes the tricky timing on SP less vital... which is good for uncoordinated folk such as myself

you need to have 15 AL armor for the build to work properly - like the kind you can get from Shing Jea. if you have max armor, Spirit Bond won't trigger nearly as much, causing you to die a lot more often.

Thanks though for letting me know. Does this also explain why i cant get the attributes the same as stated in this build thread?

Man, that sucks big time but hey, once you get this build going you'll get
your money back in no time.
And as for your attribute points goes, the armor does not make any differance.
Do you have all 200 attribute points? Maybe a dumb question but hey I just trying to help.

Sounds like you missing out on 15 Attribute points... There is a quest in Ran Musu Gardens and at Seitung Harbor. I am guessing you didn't do "An Unwelcome Guest", as it only becomes available after you beat Zen Daijun (mission).
Quest:
1.Lost Treasure (Ran Musu Gardens)
2.An Unwelcome Guest (Seitung Harbor)
If you read the original build post thoroughly, you might of known why it needs 5-15AL armor I know most people just jump ahead and grab the template code and go, and thats usually why alot of people have problems. But yeah, sucks you spent all the money buying Elite armor to farm with No worries, alot of people make the same mistake. Just remember this; when ever Spirit Bond is used in a build, lowest armor rating possible is usually required for best results...

I have a slight theoretical problem with [skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill] which is mentioned as a viable optional skill both here in this thread and on Pvxwiki.
As nice as it may be to have some additional support against heavy degen, you also receive an additional +24 armour -- which is the last thing you want in a Spirit Bond build. Just try casting RW on the 600 in a CoF run and you will get some unpleasant reactions
Hence my question: Does the additional regen really make up for the possibly failing SB in a 330hp build?

Why not take the [wiki]Droknar's Restoration Focus[/wiki]?
It's absolutely perfect for this build and it's even free, if you complete EotN with one of your characters

Resilient Weapon is just an optional skill, but it really ain't needed for degen... I take on just about any amount of degen with Spirit Bond alone. If you need something to keep you alive after killing a group, mending touch is a good alternative skill. I use Mending Touch while farming Behemoths. The +24 armor from Resilient will only affect those enemies that don't do much physical damage, such as casters... and it can make it dangerous for using Spirit Bond. I also added it on there for people that have problems dealing with degen after killing a group of enemies... its really not meant to be used while being attacked, only afterwards. You also won't beable to use Vengeful Weapon if you have Resilient Weapon active, of course it will apply over your previous weapon spell. But yeah, it would definately cause problems when using it while being attacked...
For Dualing, I usually take Purge Signet for removing all conditions and hexes after killing a group of enemies. Aslong as there is someone hitting you, you should get plenty of health gain from Spirit Bond to counter any amount of degen... only problem with degen is when they have really long durations, and if you don't have any enemies hitting you to trigger Spirit Bond. But I am sure you know this...
Also, I don't think anyone would be using Mo/Rt for the Smite Monk, and you won't have no energy to cast it anyways... maybe only before pulling a group of enemies.

I don't use Resilient Weapon on my SB-Rit at all, neither for soloing nor for dualing.
Some of my characters that don't run CoF themselves but hire 'commercial' runners have supportive builds with /Rit secondary (because of Gaze of Fury) which usually comprise Resilient Weapon as well, in order to sustain team mates and myself in the lava or fire darts. I only once, months ago, made the mistake to cast it on a poisoned and bleeding 600 in order to help out. The reaction was pretty unfriendly. Made me understand, however, that SB-farming and RW don't really go together.
But yes, using RW merely between battles is another story. Although personally, I think I'd rather opt for Mending Touch just like you do.
